Delivery Information

Deliveries are made Monday to Friday via Australia Post & Startrack. Hamper deliveries will not be made over the weekend or public holidays.

Cut off times for our orders are 12:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time.

All orders received Mon - Fri before 12pm Australian Eastern Standard Time will be promptly dispatched the same day. Any orders that we receive thereafter or over the weekend, will be dispatched the following business day or based upon your chosen delivery date.

Whilst the majority of hampers are arriving within the delivery time frame, we advise selecting a date 1-2 days earlier when choosing your delivery date. We understand that this may result in your hamper being delivered earlier than expected, however should you wish we are able to place custom stickers on the shipping box informing you recipient not to open their parcel until your chosen delivery date eg: If it's a birthday gift the sticker will read "Happy Birthday. Please do not open until .......".

How to choose your gift delivery date?                                                       

Please be aware each state has a different delivery timeframe for your gift hamper to arrive. To give you a better idea on the delivery timeframes to certain locations visit www.auspost.com.au or www.startrack.com.au.

When choosing your delivery date, please note that the day you place the order IS NOT calculated within your delivery time frame. Please allow the following business day as your start date. Weekends are also NOT calculated within your delivery timeframe. Only Monday - Friday, therefore, allow extra days for delivery.

How is Shipping Calculated

Lifes A Hamper has a flat shipping rate of $13.95 for standard delivery only. Express shipping and Startrack are available at an additional cost and are based on location which will be calculated for you at checkout.

Will my hamper be delivered on the date I select?

As Lifes A Hamper uses Australia Post & Startrack to deliver all our parcels, we use the Australia Post & Startrack Delivery Estimator which is on their website www.auspost.com.au and www.startrack.com.au to give us a guide on delivery timeframes. Please note the timeframes are only a guide and will alter during peak periods. Lifes A Hamper cannot guarantee the day of delivery but will do our best to get the hamper to your recipient as close to the delivery date selected.

How long will my hamper take to be delivered?

Standard Delivery:

Sydney Metro: 1 Day

Outside Syd Metro, County NSW & Canberra: 2- 4 Days

Melb & Bris: 3 - 5 Days

WA,SA,& TAS: 5-7 Days

NT: 7- 11 Days 

Express Delivery:

Sydney Metro: Next Day

Outside Syd Metro, County NSW, Melb, Brisb & Canberra: 2-3 Days

SA & TAS Metro: 2-3 Days

Perth Metro: 2-4 Days

NT: 3-5 Days

Startrack

Most locations are 1-2 business days. 

Please note the delivery timeframes above are a guide and some locations in country and rural areas will take longer.

Whether or not to give Authority to Leave.

If you select "Authority to Leave" at checkout, please ensure the location is safe and secure as Lifes A Hamper will not take responsibility should something occur to the hamper.

Choosing Authority to Leave

Allows the hamper to be left in a safe place on the premises with no signature required.

Choosing No Authority to Leave

This is the best option if you are unsure about the area, or if the recipient lives in an apartment/unit complex. Calling cards are no longer used within Australia Post so please ensure you provide your recipient's mobile number in order for them to receive safe drop notifications for their delivery. It is the responsibility of the recipient to collect their hamper from the post office.

Delivery Details

Lifes A Hamper does not take responsibility for any incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by our customers. Please ensure all delivery details are correct when placing orders as re-delivery fees will apply to incorrect or incomplete details.

Hampers that are returned back to us due to incorrect or incomplete details can take up to 2-3 weeks for us to receive back. Please be aware that any products or packaging that needs replacing will incur a replacement fee. Hampers will not be dispatched until the replacement fee has been made.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter as we take great pride and care in the appearance of our hampers.

Hospital Deliveries

If you are sending a hamper to a hospital, we strongly suggest gathering as much information on the recipient's location including Ward and Bed Number. Please ensure the recipient has not been discharged from the hospital prior to sending the gift or on the delivery date. Redelivery fees will apply for incorrect or incomplete address details.

Seasonal Deliveries

During peak periods delivery delays can occur, therefore we strongly advise you allow extra time when placing your orders to avoid disappointment.

Tracking Number

Every hamper that is dispatched from Lifes A Hamper will be given a tracking number, which will be emailed to you the sender once the hamper is collected by the courier from our warehouse. By using the tracking information, you are able to track the hamper and know once it is delivered.

Same Day Delivery (Sydney Metro Only)

Should you require a Same Day Delivery to Sydney Metro area, please contact us on 0423 911 300 so we can arrange a quote and delivery for you. Cut off for same day Sydney Metro deliveries is 12pm.

Payments

All payments need to be cleared before hampers can be dispatched from our warehouse. Please note at times there could be a delay of payments being cleared which may result in delayed dispatch.

Lifes A Hamper chooses to use Startrack & Australia Post to deliver your gift hampers Australia wide. You as our customer acknowledge that the timeframes specified are estimate only, and you will find that on occasion your hamper may be delayed and not arrive within your estimated time frame.
