Delivery Information

Deliveries are made Monday to Friday.

Cut off times for our orders are 12:00pm. Any orders that we receive thereafter will be dispatched the following day or based on chosen delivery day.

How to choose a delivery date?                                                                Please be aware that each state has different delivery timeframes for your gift hamper to arrive. To give you a better idea on delivery timeframe to certain locations, go to or see our delivery timeframes below. 

How is Shipping Calculated

Lifes A Hamper uses an Australia Post Integrated app which calculates the shipping based on the location, postcode and weight of the hampers. This is calculated for you once you have add the hamper into your cart.

Will my hamper be delivered on the date I select?

As Lifes A Hamper uses Australia Post to deliver all our parcels, we use the Australia Post Delivery Estimator which is on their website to give us a guide on delivery timeframes. Please note the timeframes are only a guide and will alter during peak periods. Lifes A Hamper cannot guarantee the day of delivery but will do our best to get the hamper to your recipient as close to the delivery date selected.

How long will my hamper take to be delivered?

Standard Delivery:

Sydney Metro: 2 Days

Outside Syd Metro, County NSW, Melb, Brisb & Canberra: 2-3 Days

Rest Of Aust WA,SA,TAS & NT: 2- 12 Days 

Express Delivery:

Sydney Metro: Next Day

Outside Syd Metro, County NSW, Melb, Brisb & Canberra: Next Day

SA & TAS Metro: Next Day

Perth Metro: 1-2 Days

Please note the delivery timeframes above are a guide and some locations in country and rural areas will take longer.

Authority to Leave

When proceeding to our check out you will be given the option to choose ‘Authority to Leave’ if the recipient is not home. Please ensure location is safe and secure as Lifes A Hamper will not take responsibility should something happen. If you are not sure about the area or if the recipient will be home, please do not choose ‘Authority to Leave’. If no-one is home the hamper will be taken to the nearest Post office and a calling card will be left.

Correct delivery details

Lifes A Hamper does not take responsibility for any incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by our customers. Please ensure all delivery details are correct when placing orders as re-delivery fees will apply to incorrect or incomplete details.

Hampers that are returned back to us due to incorrect or incomplete details can take up to 2-3 weeks for us to receive back. Please be aware that any products or packaging that needs replacing will incur a replacement fee. Hampers will not be dispatched until the replacement fee has been made.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter as we take great pride and care in the appearance of our hampers.

Hospital Deliveries

If you are sending a hamper to a hospital, we strongly suggest gathering as much information on the recipients location including Ward and Bed Numbers. Please ensure the recipient has not been discharged from the hospital prior to sending the gift or on the delivery date. Redelivery fees will apply for incorrect or incomplete address details.

Seasonal Deliveries

During peak periods delivery delays can occur, therefore we strongly advise you allow extra time when placing your orders to avoid disappointment.

Tracking Number

Every hamper that is dispatched from Lifes A Hamper will be given a tracking number, which will be emailed to you the sender once the hamper is collected by the courier from our warehouse. By using the tracking information you are able to track the hamper and know once it is delivered.

Same Day Delivery (Sydney Metro Only)

Should you require a Same Day Delivery to Sydney Metro area, please contact us on 0423 911 300 so we can arrange a quote and delivery for you. Cut off for same day Sydney Metro deliveries is 11am.


All payments need to be cleared before hampers can be dispatched from our warehouse. Please note at times there could be a delay of payments being cleared which may result in delayed dispatch.
